Our three apartments at Lake Como in Italy are oases of peace. Each apartment offers retreats for relaxation. Nevertheless, the lake can be reached in a few steps or in 2 minutes by car. Our apartments are located on the “golden triangle” ( Menagio-Belaggio – Bellago ) and so you can quickly reach Como or the mountains, for example by skiing in Madessimo.

The Apartments

What is the maximum number of guests allowed?

Our apartments “Cipresso 2” and “Cipresso 7” can sleep 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 children. Our “Modern Urio” apartment can accommodate 6 adults or 2 adults and up to 5 children.

Are Pets allowed? / Is the property fenced?

Pets are not allowed. The plots in all apartments are fenced.

Are towels and bed linens included?

Yes, the amount you pay via a travel portal of your choice includes the costs of towels, bed linen and cleaning. This information should have been made available to you by the travel portal. If a booking is made via our website www.stayhere-lakecomo.com, the final price also includes all costs. Of course, you can order additional towels, interim cleaning or other services for a fee via our guest app.

Is it suitable for children? Yes. There is enough space to play on the large terrace. The apartments “Cipresso 2” and “Cipresso 7” are also located in close proximity (30m) to the beach/lake. There is a lot for children to discover there, as well as two small playgrounds which are within walking distance. Security is ensured. The surrounding streets are rarely used by a few cars. “Modern Urio” is also suitable for children. There are numerous alleys that are not accessible to cars where children can play. The “Modern Urio” apartment has a pool.  Access is secured by 2 garden gates.

Are the apartments suitable for a workation in Acquaseria?

In any case. In all three apartments you will find the necessary peace, lake and mountain views for creativity in your work. The lake invites you to relax with its numerous bars and cafés.

Is the apartment suitable for people with disabilities? People who are dependent on a wheelchair need help in the “Cipresso 2″ and in the “Cipresso 7”, as access to the terrace and thus to the apartment can be reached via 3 steps. In addition, the doors are not wheelchair-friendly. The “Modern Urio” apartment is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. People with disabilities are of course very welcome.

Reservations & Bookings

How can I book the accommodation?

Online via your trusted travel portal (Booking, Airbnb etc.) or directly via our website.

What are the cancellation conditions?

The reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days before arrival, if necessary the cancellation conditions of the travel portals e.g. such as Booking.com or Airbnb differ.

Will I get an invoice?

An invoice will be automatically provided to you after successful booking on our website.

Where can I find the house rules?

See LINK HOUSERULES. In addition, the house rules will be made available to you in the guest app.

I haven’t received the booking confirmation – what should I do now? As a rule, a booking confirmation is automatically provided to you via the respective system after a few seconds or a few minutes after booking. If you still do not receive a booking confirmation, please send us a short email with the following information to office@stayhere-lakecomo.com.

  • Apartment name
  • Arrival date + departure date

Check-In & Check-Out

How do you get to the house?

You can receive detailed information via your guest app. In this app you will find photos and a video.

Is a parking spot available? Basically, all of our apartments have parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. Only the “Cipresso 2” apartment has its own private parking space. You can find more detailed information about this in the guest app.

What does the key handover look like?

Keys are handed over in person by our local service provider. If you have delays in your arrival due to traffic jams or similar, or if you can only arrive at night, the key will be left in a keybox for you . The PIN for the keybox will be sent to you upon arrival at the latest. In addition, plans are underway to enable future access to the apartment regardless of time using a smart door lock.

What time is check-in?

Check-in is usually possible from 4:00 p.m. If you would like to check in earlier, please write us a short message in your personal guest app. We will check whether this is possible on your arrival day.

By when do I have to check out?

Check out is at 10am. A late check-out will be available as a service in your guest app in the future.

Is there a reception on site? Our apartments do not have a reception. If you have booked the apartment “Cipresso 2” or “Cipresso 7”, our service provider can be reached on the main street (2 minutes walk).

Is it possible to request an early check-in/check-out?

Yes. You can request both from us via your personal guest app. In the future, an early check-in or a late check-out can be booked via the guest app.

During Your Stay

Do I have a local contact?

Our apartments do not have a reception. If you have booked the apartment “Cipresso 2” or “Cipresso 7”, our service provider can be reached on the main street (2 minutes walk). In principle, contact persons are available in the event of disruptions or problems. You can find further information about this in your guest app.

Where is the nearest shop?

There are supermarkets in the immediate vicinity of all apartments. There is a small supermarket on the main street at “Cipresso 2” and “Cipresso 7”. This supermarket can be reached on foot in 3 minutes. For larger purchases, we recommend the supermarkets in Dongo (8 km) or Menaggio (4 km). If you Google “Supermarkets Lake Como ” you will also find a list of all the supermarkets on the lake. We recommend Rewe in Dongo for the “Modern Urio ” apartment . Travel time approx. (8min.) by car.

Are there any recommended restaurants nearby?

Yes. On our website you will find information about restaurants with addresses, websites and telephone numbers for each apartment.

Can you cook in the apartments?

Yes. All three apartments have a fully equipped kitchen.

What are the rules for trash?

Whether directly in the “Village Acquaseria San Siro” or in the immediate vicinity of our apartments, there are also public waste disposal stations. These each have a container for paper, one for plastic and one for residual waste. Organic waste bins are not available at the lake.
